Into the wilds - Chitwan

On the sixth day of your trip, you will drive toward the grasslands of the county - Chitwan. It will take approximately 6 hours by drive to reach Chitwan. On the way, you can participate in breathtaking activities such as white water rafting in the Trishuli river and also visit the Manakamana Temple. You can also experience a Cable car ride on the way to the top station of Manakamana. Immediately after you reach the terai region, you will feel the warm air wrapping you. Gigantic agricultural fields covered in seasonal crops will give you an authentic village vibe. Upon reaching your hotel at Chitwan have lunch and relax.  In the evening you will go on a village walk and also ride the traditional transportation of the terai region, the Bullock cart, for a village tour.

On the following day, you will devote your full day to jungle activities such as a jeep safari in Chitwan National park, a walking safari, and observing traditional tharu culture which includes Lathi Naach or Mayur Naach dance performed inside the hotel premises. The next day you will drive to Ulleri (Bus stop) and start walking towards Ghorepani. This is the ideal viewpoint to watch the sunset along with elevated mountains. The friendly villager will make you feel at home. During your hike, you will get to taste the organic food grown by the locals. You can chit-chat with the locals over a cup of tea.

Early in the morning, you will walk up to yet another glorious viewpoint called Poon Hill from where you can see more than 12 peaks from this viewpoint.
