Everest Panorama Trek

Your Arrival Time (?) Our office representative will meet and greet you at Kathmandu airport and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu.

At. 06:00 PM: In the evening we will meet for a coffee and will brief you on the details of your trek program. You will get every necessary information you need for trekking in the Everest region. All your paperwork and permits will be made available to you, to be kept with our guide. In the evening, you can explore the Thamel area. The nightlife around Thamel is vibrant and lively.

*Optionally you can add one additional night stay in Kathmandu to cover cultural sightseeing in Kathmandu as well for your trek preparation shopping.

A Kathmandu Full Day Sightseeing includes four major sites inside Kathmandu valley that are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa.

At. 07:00 AM: You will have your breakfast at the hotel and check out from the hotel and catch a flight to Lukla, from where your trek starts. Your trek guide will be waiting for you at the airport. (Flight duration from Kathmandu to Lukla is around 30 mins) Flight to Lukla is one of the most thrilling flights as you get to see the breathtaking mountains and the flight itself is an adrenaline-rushing activity.

Note: During the peak Everest trekking season, the flights to Lukla operate from Ramechhap, Manthali, if you are traveling in spring (April) and autumn (October/November) you are required to drive to Manthali from Kathmandu. You will drive early in the morning at around 1 AM the distance between Kathmandu and Ramechap is around 132 km and you cover it in around 5-6 hours.

Upon reaching Lukla you will meet other members for your trek who will guide you throughout the trek. After that, you will start walking towards Toktok or Toc Toc. You will walk uphill to reach this beautiful village passing through Chhuthawa and Phakding. The distance from Lukla to Toktok is approximately 10 km. It takes about 4-5 hours to complete the journey on foot. The trail initially descends gradually and then ascends slowly to a certain point. 

Note: Hiring a porter is not mandatory, but it can be a helpful service. Typically, a single porter is capable of carrying approximately 20kg of baggage, which is usually sufficient for two people. There is an additional charge of $20 per day for any extra add-ons. Alternatively, you can leave your extra baggage at the hotel in Kathmandu that you won't be using during the trek. Since you will return to Kathmandu before departure, you can collect your belongings there, ensuring their safety.

At. 07:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel, and you will head towards the next destination of the day. During this day you will walk slowly towards the Namche Bazaar. It is one of the most popular sherpa villages in the Khumbu region. To reach Namche Bazaar, it typically takes approximately 5 to 6 hours of walking. This is because the distance between Tok Tok and Namche Bazaar is approximately 9 kilometers. 

When you arrive at Namche Bazaar, you will be amazed by the multitude of sites that await you. Namche Bazaar, despite being situated at the foothills of Mt. Everest and being difficult to access, offers everything one could need. You can discover a wide selection of exquisite cafes, restaurants, gaming houses, and luxurious accommodations that are available for you to enjoy. Namche is one of the most developed and fascinating places in the entire Everest region. It offers a wide range of modern facilities, including bars, cafes, and high-class restaurants with amazing ambiance.

At. 05:00 AM: Wake up early to witness the awe-inspiring sight of Mount Everest from the Everest viewpoint, and enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the towering mountains. It will take about 30 minutes to reach the viewpoint from your hotel. Witness the celestial sunrise view over the mountains, as the grey hues gradually transform into a vibrant coral color.

After taking in the breathtaking view, you can return to the hotel to relax and have breakfast. Take your time enjoying your meal and savoring the moment a bit longer. After having breakfast you will slowly move towards Khumjung. The distance between Namche Bazaar and Khumjung is approximately 4 km, which is not a significant distance. However, today's walk may be a bit challenging as you will be ascending steep steps, which can be quite difficult. The walk to Khumjung is tougher than that of day 3 and you will pass through green lush high alpine forests and authentic sherpa villages before reaching. Meanwhile, marvelous views of the gigantic mountain ranges can also be seen upon reaching Khumjung. Check-in at the local lodge and enjoy a cup of tea while you wait for the sunset. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunset from the lodge as your dinner is being prepared. Spend the night at a charming local teahouse/lodge in Khumjung.

At. 05:00 AM: Khumjung village is one of the largest villages of the Khumbu region and it lies in the shadows of Mount Khumbila. You can enjoy the wifi facility here to communicate with your loved ones but an extra charge is required according to the lodge policy.

At. 09:00 AM: After breakfast, you will move towards Tengboche. The distance between Kumjung and Tengboche is approximately 7 km. It typically takes anywhere between 4 to 5 hours to cover the descent and ascent. On the way, you will see locals going about their daily chores, and living their simple lives. You may also come across fellow trekkers and expedition teams embarking on their journey to the beautiful mountains. Once you arrive at your destination, take a moment to set down your bags and head to the earnest viewpoint of the area. From there, you can witness the breathtaking sunset and admire the endless mountain chains that surround you.

Tengboche lies at an elevation of 3,860 meters above sea level. Tengboche Monastery is one of the must-visit places during your stay at Tengboche. People visit the Tengboche monastery for their successful trek as people believe it is the blessing point of the Everest region. Tengboche monastery is not only the leading Buddhist Monastery of the Khumbu region but a perfect spot to get a panoramic view of the majestic peaks. Well-known peaks like Tawache (6501m), Everest (8849m), Nuptse (7861m), Ama Dablam (6821m), and Thamserku (6608m) are seen from the Buddhist hub.

At. 07:00 AM: After having your breakfast, the next destination on your itinerary will be Phakding. Throughout the day, as you continue your journey, you will gradually descend in altitude until you reach Phakding, which is located at an elevation of 2,610 meters above sea level. During your walk to Phakding, you will have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges along the trail.

The distance between Tengboche and Phakding is approximately 20 km. It usually takes around 6-7 hours to complete this trek. During the trek, you will reach the highest elevation of today's hike, which is 3865 meters. After that, you will descend all the way down to 2610 meters. The walk may seem long, but it is relatively easy because most of it is downhill. On the way, you will be accompanied by a beautiful vista of lofty mountains and majestic beasts of the Himalayas such as Yaks. (Don’t mess with them yaks) After a breathtaking trek, rest your bags at the lodge and explore the surrounding area of Phakding. Once you arrive at Phakding, you can relax and leave your bags at the local lodge. Take a leisurely stroll around the area to explore the picturesque Sherpa village and immerse yourself in its cultural beauty. Chat with the warm locals while your dinner is being prepared, and then spend the night at a comfortable local lodge.

At. 09:00 AM: After breakfast, you will move towards Lukla. It is one of the most popular places in the Khumbu region of Nepal as the domestic airport is in Lukla. The distance between Phakding to Lukla is around 8 km which you can cover around 4-5 hours. The hike to Lukla is easy and you can have free time to roam around and interact with the locals or other visitors. Lukla is an exclusive place in the Everest region and you can find pubs, bars, snooker, and the finest cafes where you can spend your time enjoying and celebrating your successful trek. Take advantage of fine service and facilities in the ruthless highlands of Nepal and the simplicity of the Himalayan region at the moment.The atmosphere of this place is unlike any other you will ever visit. Here, you will receive exceptional service and enjoy well-maintained facilities, all in close proximity to the highest mountain in the world. Experiencing the beauty of nature in the Everest region while enjoying a delicious cup of coffee is something you must try. After spending some quality time, return to the lodge, have dinner, and rest well for the next day.

At. 07:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel and you will take a flight back to Kathmandu. Experience a thrilling flight to Katham from Lukla, along with a panoramic view of the surrounding area. Once you reach the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and get ready for your amazing sightseeing program. You will have plenty of free time to go shopping or explore the Kathmandu Valley. You can also choose the Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour on this day. You can explore several significant cultural sites within the Kathmandu Valley, including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath Stupa. These locations showcase the diverse and rich cultural heritage found in this area. 

You will have your day leisurely, you will have enough free time for shopping or roaming around Kathmandu valley in the evening. However, if you want to go for authentic shopping for items such as handmade goods for souvenirs, and treat yourself to a relaxing spa after a week-long trek Thamel is the place for you. Enjoy the leisure time as you wish, and in the evening, join us for a traditional Nepali Dinner (Thakali Cuisine) with a live performance of folk songs as a farewell (If you want to visit other places, we can arrange it for you with extra add ons)

You will have your breakfast at the hotel and then you will have free time. Our office representative will drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport 3 hours before your flight time.
