The Chitwan National park covers 952.6 Km² making it the sanctuary for thousands of wildlife in Nepal. Chitwan National park is the first natural park in Nepal. This is the place where you get the opportunity to encounter the ‘’Big Six’’. The big six are referred to as the dominant wild animals of this particular area are the Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Gaur, Wooden Bear, One-Horned Rhino and Wild Elephant. What to expect from Chitwan Jungle Safari tour?
Chitwan Jungle Safari tour is created to provide a wonderful time for you. You can experience luxury within the wilds as well. As a greeting, you will be welcomed with a typical classic Nepali style at the hotel. On the way to your destination, you can do lots of stuff such as white water rafting and the Manakamana tour which are optional.
Immediately after you reach the terai region, you will feel the warm air wrapping you. Gigantic agricultural fields covered in seasonal crops will declare the start of your adventurous tour. People doing their daily chores on fields will give you an authentic village vibe. After you check in the hotel you will enjoy an organic midday meal at the hotel and begin your tour starting with a short village walk. You will see completely different architecture mostly made out of mud and natural material. In the village area, you get the perfect chance to experience the traditional bullock cart as a mode of transportation. There you can spend some time with the villagers and learn about the history of their traditions and practices.
The stunning coral sunset will melt your heart. The simple lifestyle of the locals will teach you about the minimalist lifestyle. After you soak in the beauty of village life you will make your way back to the hotel. You will have a delicious dinner along with cultural dance performed by the locals. Lathi Naach or Mayur Naach is the type of dance performed by a group of people while beating their traditional drums and instruments.
Jeep Safari inside the Chitwan National Park:
The second day of your tour will be vastly different and exciting in comparison to your first day. Today you will explore the jungle by two different methods, one by jeep and the other by foot. You will advance your tour by jeep safari with your expert naturalist who will provide you with the necessary information regarding the surrounding area. You will see various kinds of native animals including some of the endangered ones as well.

You'll have pre-made lunch deep in the jungle in a safe spot chosen by the nature guide. After you finish your jeep safari you will proceed towards the heart of the jungle for further exploration. You will see wild animals in their natural habitat without disturbing or threatening them. Further, you will walk up to the hotel, and this concludes your thrilling jungle safari.

For the third day, you will participate in many jungle activities. Starting from elephant walking, walking with elephants might be a therapeutic moment. Walking beside these giant creatures will be the best part of your trip. You can capture these precious moments by snapping some pictures together. Following the itinerary, you will go canoeing on a traditionally handcrafted boat called the Patela boat. There will be numerous wild ducks swimming in the river along with other aquatic animals.
The most rewarding view will be the endangered Gharial crocodile sunbathing on the bank of the river. Cross the calm river and make your way towards the Elephant breeding center. There you will learn how to make an Elephant meal and how they eat it. You will get to learn about nature and the habits of these beautiful animals. Spend some quality time at the Elephant breeding center and return to the hotel.
The next day you will wake up to see an astounding sunrise and walk up to a nearby location for bird watching. Chitwan is the supreme place for bird watching as various species of birds migrate to the wetlands of Chitwan. There are around 584 birds that you can identify and spot. The charismatic birds will enchant you with their vibrant color and charm. Spend a good amount of time birdwatching and get back to the hotel for the last breakfast of your tour. You will get private transportation for your departure. On the way to Kathmandu, you can visit the Manakamana temple and experience a cable car ride.
